As Chairman of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe for the past 30 years and an active member of the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), I have seen many positive changes come to Indian Country. Of these changes, none has been more important than the emergence of self-governance and fiscal independence through economic development.

The ability of Tribes to chart their own destiny through economic empowerment is essential to our quest for true self-determination. To achieve this goal, the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe has established a new business opportunity, i.e. the Jamestown Health and Medical Supply Company. This Indian owned enterprise will distribute high quality dental, health care and housekeeping products to health and dental clinics, casinos and any other business requiring such supplies.
